High Street is well regarded as one of Melbourne’s most prestigious retail shopping strips with a range of boutique fashion stores and cafe’s, combined with a mixture of cultural dining experiences. The proposed site comprises a two-level basement concept, with six additional levels above ground. A dedicated restaurant on the ground floor will be connected to a subterranean wine bar on the first level basement. This modern and contemporary building will boast all of the great values that belong to this iconic part of Melbourne, while nodding to the rich culture and heritage of the surrounding area.

Comprising 57 prefabricated units, this first-of-its-kind initiative in Victoria provides housing for those experiencing, or at risk of homelessness. Architecturally designed, 6-star energy rated and fully furnished, the units empower tenants to live their own lives, privately and independently, as part of the greater Footscray community. Harris Capital is the philanthropic partner for this project, which is led by Launch Housing.
